Personal info and artist statement

I was born in St.Petersburg, Russia, and am currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I have always been interesting in different kind of visual art. I started with traditional mediums and then the computer became  the most essential tool  in my art creation process.  It allows me to work on the image in less time and with far more control than it would take using traditional techniques. My art works may be characterized as digital mixtures made from photos, paintings, drawings and media experimentation.

Artists that inspire me are: Miran Kim, H.R.Giger, Francis Bacon, Dali, Aivazovsky, J.M.W.Turner.

Despite the fact that most of my art works have a dark and gloomy atmosphere, it does not mean I am some kind of psycho or a devil worshiper, I just believe, what one of the greatest thing about art is what it gives us the ability to see, imagine and feel things in a certain way. In my case it’s the way I see transformation of these things into dark, horrific and surreal visions.
